Casa do Armeiro is part of the history of Mértola village.
It lies in the heart of Vila Velha and within the Castle wall, it was once known for Casa do Armeiro [The Armour House].
In the 1980s, it benefited from an intervention where its traditional constructive characteristics were preserved while adding new Islamic-inspired spaces.
At that time a maze of new areas is added, culminating in a large private garden and a terrace, from which you can enjoy a 360º view of the village and surroundings scape.
Recently it has benefited from a new intervention in order to provide the most modern comfort to its guests.
Casa do Armeiro has capacity for 5 people on the upper floor and for 4 people on the lower floor and can be occupied separately.
